Shock Win At Home, 63-26
April 24 2007

Spokane Wa - The Spokane Shock (2-2) came home tonight to a near sell-out crowd and gave them exactly want they wanted, defeating the Renegades (0-3), 63-26.
All week long, Head Coach Adam Shackleford stressed the importance of executing offensively and making tackles defensively, and that’s exactly what happened.
Shackleford’s offensive game plan was beautifully executed by QB Andrico Hines who threw six touchdowns (17-31, 192 yards) without throwing an interception for the second consecutive week.
The Renegades defense focused on WR Antwone Savage who was limited to only six receptions (his lowest total of the season) but still managed to haul in four touchdowns and 75 yards. WR Andre Rector, who had a break-out game last week (nine receptions for 91 yards), continued to improve, as he led the team in receptions (with seven).
The third member of the starting receiving core, Raul Vijil, had two touchdown receptions but was pulled in the third quarter after spraining his ankle. His status for next week, at this time, is questionable.

“Anytime you score 63 points and keep the other team at 26 you do a pretty good job. I’m happy for at least this game,” Shackleford said.
